Information notice pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 for website users
Euromedical S.r.l., headquartered in San Zeno Naviglio (BS), Via Volta no. 23/E (hereinafter “Euromedical” and/or the “Data Controller”), wishes to inform users of its website (hereinafter, the “Users” or, individually, the “User”) about the processing of the data voluntarily provided during registration on the website and/or when submitting a contact request via the contact function available on the website [https://www.euromedicalonline.it](https://www.euromedicalonline.it) (hereinafter, the “Website”).
In particular, Euromedical informs Users that, pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, regarding the protection of natural persons with respect to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter, the “Regulation”), the personal data provided to the Controller may be processed under the terms and conditions specified below.
1. Personal data processed
The Data Controller will process the following data of the Users:
a) name, surname;
b) e-mail, phone number;
c) company/hospital of reference;
d) IP addresses;
e) URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of requested resources;
f) times of web requests;
(hereinafter, the “Personal Data”)
2. Purpose of processing – Legal basis 2.1. The Personal Data provided during registration and/or contact requests through the Website will be processed for the following purposes:
i. to respond to Users’ contact requests;
ii. to improve the services offered through the Website;
iii. to inform Users about new Euromedical services;
2.2. For the purpose indicated in paragraph 2.1. (i), the legal basis for processing is the need to respond to your request to be contacted, pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) of the Regulation. For the purposes indicated in paragraph 2.1. (ii) and (iii), the legal basis is the legitimate interest of the Controller, pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the Regulation.
3. Processing methods
The processing of Personal Data will comply with the principles of necessity and relevance, using both manual and electronic procedures to the extent necessary to achieve the aforementioned purposes.
The processing will be carried out using paper and electronic tools suitable to guarantee security and confidentiality and may include automated systems designed to store, manage, and transmit the data.
The voluntarily provided data are collected using electronic tools directly by the Controller and/or through third parties specifically appointed as Data Processors.
The collected Personal Data will be stored in a secure environment with physical and IT protection systems.
4. Consequences of refusing to provide data
Providing the requested data is necessary to allow Euromedical to respond to the User’s requests. Any refusal to provide such data will make it impossible for Euromedical to fulfil these requests.
5. Entities to whom Personal Data may be communicated
Your Personal Data may be shared, for the purposes mentioned above, with:
* persons authorized by Euromedical to process Personal Data as strictly necessary for the performance of activities related to the provision of the above-mentioned services, who are bound by confidentiality or have an adequate legal confidentiality obligation (e.g., employees and system administrators), through a written act pursuant to Article 29 of the Regulation;
* third parties involved in the management of the Website (by way of example but not limited to, subcontracting companies in case of outsourced works/services, even partially), typically acting as Data Processors (for the complete and updated list of Data Processors, please contact the Data Controller at the contact details indicated below);
* entities, bodies, or authorities to whom it is mandatory to communicate your Personal Data under legal provisions or orders of the authorities.
Except as stated above, Euromedical does not disclose the collected Personal Data.
6. Transfer of Personal Data
Personal Data are stored in Italy and will not be transferred to third countries outside the European Union.
7. Data retention period
The Controller will process the Personal Data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described above and in accordance with applicable law.
Users’ Personal Data will be retained only as long as necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected, and in any case for a period compliant with applicable legal requirements.
Data voluntarily provided by the User for the provision of Euromedical services will be stored for as long as required to fulfil contractual obligations. In any case, your personal data will be retained for the duration of the requested services and no longer than ten (10) years after the termination of any contractual relationship. Further retention may occur within statutory limitation periods, including those under Article 2946 of the Italian Civil Code. 8. Your privacy rights under Articles 15 et seq. of the Regulation
Pursuant to Articles 15 and following of the Regulation, you have the right to request, at any time, access to your Personal Data, rectification or deletion, or to object to their processing. You also have the right to request restriction of processing in the cases provided by Article 18 of the Regulation, and to obtain the data concerning you in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, in the cases provided by Article 20 of the Regulation.

In any case, you always have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent Supervisory Authority (Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali) pursuant to Article 77 of the Regulation, if you believe that the processing of your Personal Data violates the applicable law.
